I was just wondering if other people have dogs that sulk. If my dog thinks she should have had attention or if I give too much attention to the cat she will curl up in her basket with her back to me and sulk for half an hour or so.

Mine sulk occasionally but never that long.
I wouldn't call it sulking, but I've had a couple of dogs who were not afraid to tell me off but good. A while ago, I had a beagle who loved to go out for walks, and I was behind schedule. You should have heard her. She didn't bark, she just talked. When I finally had her leash on and we went outside, I swear that for the first block all she did was yell at me in a snarl talk. I finally said, "Hey, we're out for the walk. Are you going to yell at me the whole time or enjoy it?" That's when she focused on the walk. I was in hysterics. It was so funny.
My dog manages to make her meaning very clear just with a look! She doesn't sulk for long thank goodness.
They are just so cute, whatever they do. They clearly communicate both happiness and displeasure to me. My youngest is especially good at that.
I dont think they're capable of sulking for long. They're just happy by nature!!
I think it does depend on the breed, some are more exuberant than others and some are a little more possessive than other breeds, and one or two will sulk occasionally - just like people really!
