\r\n <!-' + '- google_ad_section_start -' + '->Hi,
\r\nI have a two year old terrier mix shelter dog that I rescued about a month ago. She is doing pretty well and the biggest problem I am having is when I try to take her on a walk when there are other people or animals around. When I first got her she was really pulling on the leash but I have been training her to walk with a loose leash. She does much better unless there are other people or animals around and then she goes nuts. Turning into a barking, howling, jumping and pulling mess! She is not aggressive, she just wants to play. She seems to love everyone and everything, people, dogs and cats. I have tried the method that I used to get her to stop pulling with me. Stopping the minute she started pulling and then going forward when she calmed down, then giving her treats when she walked beside me with a loose leash. This works really well for when it is just me but all bets are off if anyone else is around. I really want to be able to enjoy going on walks with her so any help would be appreciated.<!-' + '- google_ad_section_end -' + '-><!-' + '- AMS FIRST IN POST -' + '->\r\n

    \r\n <!-' + '- google_ad_section_start -' + '->Hi, I know this is an old post but i was wondering if and how you trained your dog to behave on the leash.
    \r\n
    \r\nWe have bought gentle leaders and the dogs don\'t pull anymore but when they see another dog they want to play and ignore us and pull.
    \r\n
    \r\nI would love to know what you done to fix the problem?

      Need help with pulling problem

      Hi,

This works really well for when it is just me but all bets are off if anyone else is around. I really want to be able to enjoy going on walks with her so any help would be appreciated.
