Agility Training Medium/Large Dog

Hey all, wondering if anyone has any tips for agility training.
Would it be easier to use clicker training?
How long should i train the dog for each day?

Dog info, Wolf hound x Kelpie (a pigging dog)
1 year old, just above knee height.
Knows basic commands, sit, drop, shake, rollover, stay back and front.
