\r\n <!-' + '- google_ad_section_start -' + '->If you\'ve read about my dogs\' seizures, then it may not come as a surprise so I\'m going to try to change up their diet. I\'ve researched a ton and am going to attempt a mixture of a higher grade dog food plus some home cooking. The question I can\'t seem to find an answer to, however, is how much protein or meat I need to feed them. Actually, it\'s more my one dog who has had these violent seizures a year or so apart.

    Question Protein

If you've read about my dogs' seizures, then it may not come as a surprise so I'm going to try to change up their diet. I've researched a ton and am going to attempt a mixture of a higher grade dog food plus some home cooking. The question I can't seem to find an answer to, however, is how much protein or meat I need to feed them. Actually, it's more my one dog who has had these violent seizures a year or so apart.

Cassie is healthy and weighs 50lbs. Her exercise is mainly running around the backyard and playing with her sister. She's being taken off a regular diet of Pedigree dog food. Treats have been mostly carrots, and that will continue.

Okay, so I bought some chicken to cook today and I'll be mixing that in with some vegetables using a recipe I got on the internet. But I just don't know how much I'm supposed to give her. I got a 5lb package of thighs and there are 12 in the package.

Can someone please give me a guideline of what I should give her per day? I truly don't know; not a clue.
