Hello and welcome Suzanne, your dogs look amazing. I have never owned a Lhasa Apso but my parents have had several, they are wonderful dogs with huge personalities and minds of their own.
Thank you. I am so pleased with Thomas at the moment. I'm not a big dog trainer, I just like them so sit when I tell them and wait when I offer food or treats as I like them to be pretty free spirited. Anyway, I do take Chess to puppy training classes (although she is 18 months old but that's another story..LOL) and try to apply some of the lessons learned to the little ones, so yesterday in the garden, I just did a very brief few minutes of 'sit, stay' with them. My first focus was on Thomas who managed to sit and stay for about 20 seconds or so!! He has been the slowest to respond to commands up until now, yet he was the only one of the three to respond! I was really proud of him!
He is from the biggest kennel and is so excitable and full of himself and life in general so that was quite an achievement for him
