I am new to this site. I have a wonderful and supportive husband and talented 8 year old son. My son and I compete in Rally, Obedience and we just started Agility. I have two standard poodles that I train, my son has a little boston/italian greyhound he trains. I also have two toy and two mini poodles that like to lay around the house and they make nice furniture accent pieces. Their job is hard enough, looking cute and all. I am a dog obedience instructor specializing in basic obedience and behavior issues. It was a hobby that turned into a passion. It's a great feeling to see that connection between a puppy and it's owner when the owner sees that they can work together. It never gets old.
I also like to pick the brains of other dog trainers and share tips as well as get tips on how to get better results in competition training. Thanks for looking and I look forward to networking.
My goodness you have a houseful! how lovely, we really must see some pictures please. I am so curious to know what your son's dog looks like. I used to walk a little boston T, great dogs - such fun personalities. Welcome to the group, it's great to have you join us, you have the best job and I love the user name too!
I do have quite a few dogs, but they are very well behave and very much loved. I have posted photos of my babies. They are in an album called "My Big Fat Poodle Family". Enjoy!!!!
