Beagles are wayyyyyy too much hard work for me - can\'t be doing with all the sniffing everywhere and the poor/non-existent recall when they pick a scent up, not too mention the barking/howling......I have been walking a beagle for the past 3 years and I have him on a 100ft long line the whole time. He is a happy chappie though, very friendly to everyone we meet and great with other dogs.

\nBoxers can be challenging, head-strong, greedy, energetic, so set your ground rules and stick to them. They are so loving though - I warn you they totally think they are lap dogs! Tare also bouncey, expressive, protective and often quite hilarous in some of the things they get up too.
