    Unhappy Big Dogs

My name is Kacie and my daughter is Krysta
we have 2 mini daushounds who are 6 years and 3 years, a jack russle/wolf cross ( strange I know but cute ) who is 6 weeks and a great dane/great peraneies who is 9mths

I have several small dogs that i can not seem to get house trained and one very large puppy that is 9mths old and he is a great dane/great peranies. He has started to chew on the smaller dogs and to knock over my daughter who is 5 I got him to be a companion to her and to gaurd the property. He will not stay put. what can i do to fix this problem I am on the verg of finding him a new home. I was told to try a shock collar but i not to sure about that. Thanks

HI and welcome. I am not fond of shock collars, and I'm not sure how that would help with him pushing over your child. Have you considered taking him to an obedience class?

Hello, it sounds as if you have your hands full. I don't think a shock collar is the answer, it is certainly not something I would consider. Puppies are bound to be energetic and bouncy, but he needs to be trained. As you have issues with your other dogs too the best thing may be to contact a reputable trainer for help and advice.
