My name is Shaunna, and my husband and I just adopted a 14 week old pound puppy named snickers. She's a German shepherd/lab mix who, unbelievably, had been in the shelter for 6 weeks. I have no idea what to do in terms of training, (I'm only 22 and my parents trained the family dogs when we were kids and couldn't help.), so she and I get to learn together!! I'm so excited to have found this site to help him along the way!
HI there Shaunna, welcome to the forum, I look forward to hearing more about your new little pup, it is a little sad that she was in the shelter for so long, I always thought puppies moved on really quickly. Anyway, she has home with you now, so that's great news for her. Enjoy the journey together. Look forward to hearing more from you, a picture would be lovely too.
