My fiancee and I brought home an Alaskan Malamute on New Years Eve, and I found this site while researching training. Our puppy, Sookie, is 4 months old and has been a pleasure since we brought her home. I would like to train her for Canine Good Citizen, Therapy, and Search & Rescue, but haven\'t been able to find too much information to this point. We learned about the S&R on one of our many trips to one of the local pet stores to work on socializing Sookie. The store manager was amazed at how intelligent Sookie was for her age, and said she would be great at it. Feel free to message me with any information or suggestions about the training or the breed itself.
