\r\n <!-' + '- google_ad_section_start -' + '->Hi all new to the forum, just got my first puppy since my childhood buddy passed over 5 yrs ago I have two children Chloe 5 and Audrey 1.5 I feel this is a good age to have a buddy of their own to grow with as Lil Audrey is quite the outgoing spirit I think our new pet will help keep her from harm. Koopa is 6 wks old mother a pure breed mini foxy (stumpy tail) and farther cavalier although I\'m not 100% on that as yet, our first night was a doozy he literally screamed durning the night and just wanted my company so like a fool I gave it too him (after reading a post) realized I rewarded him but also after reading another post realized he didn\'t want to be alone he is now in my room with his own small kennel happy as. He is very quiet during the day and tries to play with us with the puppy attitude and has started with house training as he is far too Lil to be outside all by his Lonesome, I do have some questions but will post in the correct locations and am glad to have found this sight as in theory this is my first puppy training experience as my mother did all the puppy training for my beloved buddy when I was the child at age 5 :-) glad to be here and look forward to some tips, advice and stories that come my way<!-' + '- google_ad_section_end -' + '-><!-' + '- AMS FIRST IN POST -' + '->\r\n

\nYou are definitely on the right track. Knowledge and intuition is key for puppy training. He will let you know if you are on the right track or not :P
\n
\nDon\'t forget to get him socialised with other dogs while he is in that critical stage of development.<!-' + '- google_ad_section_end -' + '->\r\n
