Hello,
First, i want to say i love this forum...so many helpful questions and answers. My puppy is 3 months old and i'm currently housetraining him. i have another blog on "puppy training", but i also have question about him going a #2. i was told that if you feed him on a schedule...he'll go on a schedule, but so far that hasn't been the case. i feed him in the morning and then again at dinner and he'll go around lunch and then dinner, but sometimes we wake up in the morning and he'll go in his pen. Am i doing something wrong?
thanks!
He is still very very young. You must have patience. You are expecting him to act like an adult dog and he isn't one yet. He doesn't have the control he will have in the future. Just like a human baby. Why in the world do you expect more from a puppy than you do a human baby?

Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring-it was peace. - Milan Kundera
Thank you....i guess i do need to be a little more patience...
