Hi,

My name is Steve and I am a new pet owner. Well, not really an owner, I am more a temporary guardian for a friend who is going overseas for 6 months.

I live in South Korea, the last place I expected to end up with a pet, however a friend of mine is going to Helsinki for 6 months to study and has asked me to look after her 8 month old Miniature Dachshund. I have been reading some of the seeminly great advice on this site and decided to join and see if anyone can help me with a particular problem. As a first time dog owner/guardian lol, and living overseas myself, I am lacking access to info on how to deal with certain issues.

I really hope this site helps me and that maybe at some stage I'll be able to help others too.
