    A warning

We almost had a tragedy with our cat over the weekend and it was such a silly thing that I thought I should warn others. He was a stray before he came to us and we have never quite broken his habit of foraging in bins. After I had gone to bed he managed to get the lid off our kitchen bin, somehow he got his head stuck in a crisp bag and when my husband came home he found him sprawled in the hall almost unconscious with the bag still on his head. My husband helped him and he recovered reasonably quickly, but if my husband had not been late home it could have been a very different outcome. It just shows how easily an accident can happen.

That must have been very frightening, I am glad he is ok now. Thank you for your warning, it shows how quickly an accident can happen, I will be making some changes in my home because of this.

HOw terrible. I would be devastated if this happened to one of my babies. Glad that your husband got there in time.
