    Lost Pet App

Did you know there is a smartphone app for help in finding a lost pet? There was a news story about it tonight but I missed the name of the thing. Sounds good though.

I still don't have a smartphone yet but anything that can help to find a missing pet must be a good thing.

I actually saw there are other types of apps out there too, but like you said, I'm for anything that brings home the pets.

I have my pets chipped and they always wear their name and address tags, but any extra help in finding a lost dog has to be a welcome development.

Chipping is a must in my opinion. There have been a lot of happy homecomings as a result of chipping.

My pets are chipped, if the worst should happen and one of them gets lost I hope it will help to find them quickly.

There are come arguments against chipping on health grounds - Dogs suffer cancer after ID chipping If I had a choice I would tattoo my dogs, but as they are all rescues, they are chipped automatically and I have no say in the matter. Sorry to stray away from the orginal post - but I have no idea about apps, sorry.
