This is Timmy, my mum adopted him from a rescue centre when he was a fairly young dog. He had been given up by his previous owners who said they couldn't afford him. Soon after he was adopted it became clear that he had epilepsy and a heart condition, but by then my mum loved him and she was going to do all she could to keep him happy and healthy. He is now an old man of about 16, he has cost a fortune in vet care and regular medication but he has had a happy life and a loving home. I thought I would share his story because it is nice to know that some dogs find loving homes after being in a rescue centre.
Bless his little heart, it is because of your mums care that he has lived a full happy life, I do rescue and I see so much pain and torment. Its very sad, people think dogs are disposable, they are not
He is a lucky little chap to have found such a loving home, thank you for sharing such a heart warming story. It is nice to know that there are some people that really care.
