I have an 11 1/2yo Great Dane who is incontinent. She takes a human female hormone (Premerine I think) and it helps A LOT. She almost never has a problem now.

    STA70219.jpgHi

You could try homeopathy, this can have very good results. Either find a homeopathic vet, you can google this, or again google for a remedy, but this may be more hit and miss, as other factors such as character of dog, when it happens etc come into it as well.

If you go to the vet, then your dog may well be given medication called 'Propalin', which I believe has very good results. Not sure of cost though.

Are you sure that it is due to spaying, and she doesn't have cystitus or some other bladder problem, such as stones?

    Definately recommend a vet check.

    Regards Jan

I guess you have had her checked already, but as RubyRoo says you need to be sure that the problem is not caused by an infection or a different problem.
