\r\n <!-' + '- google_ad_section_start -' + '->I went to Pet Smart to get cat litter, and fell in love! The shelter was having an adoption event, and before I knew it, I was the proud Mom of a wonderful little guy. He\'s about 2 years old (they think) a dachshund/? mix, very cute & loving & smart. He appears to be totally housetrained (not a single accident in 2 days) crate trained (sleeps all night without a peep of noise) and simply wonderful...so far. He\'s going early next week to get "fixed" and I just hope that won\'t change anything. So, I also have an old cat, who showed him who\'s boss right away, so no problem there! The problem is with my 1 year old, shy girl kitty. She\'s kinda freaked out; staying away but peaking at him from around the couch. Here\'s my question. What\'s the best way to introduce the two of them, with a minimum of craziness? I\'ve kept the dog on a leash in the house, haven\'t let him have free run yet. He seems to want to play with her (or at least check her out) but she\'s just too scared. Any ideas on how to make this work?
