\r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n <!-' + '- google_ad_section_start -' + '->Hi I have X2 husky X kelpies both 1 year old approx, we have only had them 3 weeks so I think more bonding is needed.\r\n
\r\n
\r\nI have asked this question on other forums and got nothing but abuse, so please don\'t judge me
\r\n
\r\nWe leave the dogs in the garden when we are at work, the 1st day they were fine the second day they ran away. Luckily the nice lady who found them rang me and I picked them up.
\r\n
\r\nThe 2nd time we had them on 5M ropes (with access to shelter food water & lots of grass) Bonnie pulled out of her collar and was picked up by the ranger
\r\n($220 fine)
\r\n
\r\nAfter this we spend $$$$ on new fencing so they couldn\'t get out. On Monday we got the dreaded phone call from the pound "we have Bonnie & Clyde again" (still waiting for the fine in the post) this time chickeds & birds have been eaten.
\r\n
\r\nWhy are they running away?
\r\n
\r\nI have read up about husky behaviour and that they like to roam but how do I train them out of it?
\r\n
\r\nAny tips would be greatfully recieved and please no negative remarks like the last forum I went on.
