We have just adopted a new mini schnauzer five weeks ago. This is our second mini schnauzer, we lost our first one in July. Our first puppy was very laid back and enjoyable. This new puppy is extremely different. While he is adorable, he will retaliate if you try to correct him. He is constantly biting at our clothes, shoes and furniture. We have tried to be patient but his behavior is very upsetting and is making it difficult to enjoy him. We have purchased chew toys, bones, you name it and we have tried it. I know this is a puppy faze but at times I'm not sure we can last long enough for him to grow into an adult dog. I don't want to give up on him but he is wrecking our furniture and our peace at home. If anyone has any ideas we are open to suggestions.
