Hi , Hoping to visit this site often. I live in Somerset, within 15 mins walk to the beach and 10 minutes in most directions takes me to open fields. This is ideal for ddog walking.I spent many happy hours walking this area with my dog, Bella, a rescue, who was SO gentle , a really special dog. I lost her 2 weeks ago, she had gone off of her food, and was found to have a mass of tumours. It all happened within 2 days, so was such a shock.I couldnt eat or sleep/We now have an 8 wee old pup. Buddy, a bearded colliex lurcher, and he is has helped my sadness. I really want to give him the best start, as we have had rescues before, so are starting from scratch with Buddy. so will no doubt be asking opinions...thanks in anticipation.Have already posted saying Hi to all, with my first dilemma!
Hello, I am so sorry to hear about Bella, I have also experienced the terrible pain of losing a much loved dog. In time the sadness will fade and you will remember the happy times. I look forward to hearing more about Buddy, he sounds lovely, a bubdle of energy no doubt.
thanks so very much, am trying to sort out some photos, Buddy is helping so much, kind of wish I could have both of them, but Bella would have hated him! she was such a people person, kept to the paths and never went off doing doggy things! she was a collie cross and SO gentle, only doggy thing she did was play football, brill ball control!
