    Dog hair

Almost all dog owners have to put up with the problem of dog hairs to a greater or lesser extent. So what is the best type of clothes brush? How do you get the dog hair off the furniture and the carpets?

I have a dyson vacuum cleaner that is designed to deal with dog hair, and I use the sticky paper roller type clothes brushes. To some extent, I think you have to put up with a few dog hairs if you love your pet.

I just try to rake it up with a carpet rake or vacuum it up, but it's very difficult. I know there are pet canister vacuums out there but I don't know that any are better than others.

Ours is very good, but it is not going to work miracles, if you have dogs you have to accept a few dog hairs.

I have a little Dirtl Devil hand vac that does a great job of vacuuming the hair off of our furniture. With two dogs, we have a lot of hair flying around!

When new people meet me, I say "Hi, I'm Orry and [pointing to dog hairs] and that's my dog."

Having a dog in the family makes a lot more work and not just in terms of cleaning, but if you are a dog person that is a very small price to pay for the joy of sharing your life with dogs.

I totally agree. I just figure it's like me, like my dogs, or like my dogs and tolerate me. LOL Whatever it is, that's just the way doggie living is.

I have used masking tape before and it works great in a pinch. It gets all hair off fast.
