Its depend on the situation and which location your home and how much fun they able to create in there in home.
Good chance they will get separation anxiety from with each other, at some point, if they become separated
It is imperative that they have their own independent dog crates. Because dog is a territorially strong animal. In the beginning, you can put two dog crates in an adjacent position to keep your two dogs intimate.
