    Finding a reliable trainer?

Hello, new here and also nee to dog ownership. We have a shepherd/doberman mix 6 month old puppy that we just adopted. She is very sweer, but needs training (mouthing, jumping up, leash sensitovity etc). We are willing to spend on a good trainer, but I don't even know where to start. There are trainers in our area but the bad reviews have me concerned (most reviews are positive). What red flags fo I look out for when choosing a trainer? Also is petco/petsmart a good supplementary training resource?

You can start with https://wolfmethodology.com/ before you get in touch with a trainer.

It's great that you're considering training for your puppy. When choosing a trainer, look for experience, positive reinforcement methods, and recommendations from trusted sources. Petco/Petsmart can offer supplementary training, but consider a professional trainer for more specific needs. Good luck with your pup's training journey!
