Mum to Rubi liked post by Orrymain On thread : Shock Collars and Puppies
I'm totally against shock collars that give off charges. It's just plain cruel. There are other kinds of collars that are more humane, but I prefer training and patience.

The thing is, he did pick me and if I hadn't taken him, he'd probably be killed because he was walking around an industrial area. We suspect someone dumped him there. We don't have any no-kill...

I've never owned a dual leash so don't know much about this. I have always trained my dogs on leashes, but I've done it one at a time. Good luck!

I was told the same thing, even when not siblings. You want them to bond but you have to make sure that you are not removed from the equation. For a long time, my youngest had a hard time being...

I strongly recommend the fence, not just to protect the neighbors, so to speak, but a lot of animals are stolen from unfenced areas.

If you're worried why not get dog stairs or place a hassack or something like that so they can have an intermediate level to go up and down on.

lol -- that makes me think of times in the past with other dogs of mine who could pick out words like "ice cream" ... and walk and ride. I'd be on the phone or something and the next thing I know,...

JennTroynLuca liked post by Orrymain On thread : FURminator
You use it to comb your dog's fur out, which is very simplistic in description. It actually gets the undercoat and not the surface. I couldn't believe what came off my youngest dog. There's no...

Tears. I cry, a lot .... and I cry some more ... and I grieve. When I was at work, I took time off. Amazingly, my bosses knew that and asked me if I wanted it even before I asked. My pets are my...
