The advantage to getting a purebred from a reputable breeder is that you know what you are getting and the breeder will help you out -including taking the puppy back if necessary. When I was breeding (Staffordshire Bull Terriers) I once took a six year old bitch back because of a divorce in the family. Stuff happens sometimes. I have also gotten very nice dogs from the shelter but it is kind of a gamble, especially if you get a puppy you have no real idea what the grown dog will be.<!-' + '- google_ad_section_end -' + '->\r\n
